You couldn't escape it....

It was everywhere you looked..."CDC has just announced Covid-19 as a global pandemic, stockpile and stay at home, only leave your house for emergencies, and when you do WEAR A MASK".And just like that Covid-19 forced schools across the nation to close down and resort to online teaching.Luckily for me, my senior year was basically over and I was able to soon "graduate".I'm sure you can imagine we had the best graduation ceremony ever….(if you can even say a zoom call is a graduation ceremony in the first place)Anyways, after I graduated I soon applied to go to college to pursue an engineering degree.

But deep down, I knew that this wasn't what I wanted to do.

Deep down I always had a desired to be an entrepreneur and have some type of successful business.So instead of going to college, I started doing research and found out about e-commerce.After a few months of building a website, learning the Shopify platform, I launched my website & started running some basic ads on FB.I was super excited because I kept hearing how awesome e-commerce was and how money will rain from the sky once you do it, so after I launched my first ads....They completely bombed.And I blew through a few hundred dollars in just a matter of days....

This was a big slap in the face for me.

And I was thankful for this major slap because it brought me back into reality.I realized that I had zero clue on what I was doing with these ads and if I wanted to be successful, then I would need to dive in and learn as much as I can about marketing.My e-commerce business never came up but while I was learning about marketing, it lead me to learn about copywriting.Soon, I fell in love with the art of copywriting and decided that I wanted to become a copywriter.I spent many, many months watching, and absorbing courses, reading tons of books on copywriting, sales, sales psychology, books from the greats of advertising, and more....Over time I started picking up little gigs here and there and creating copy for clients.Eventually, I came across Mike Shreeve, an amazing copywriter who went from homeless to making 6 figures/MONTH and created a few multimillion-dollar businesses.Clearly, this guy knew what he was talking about.Mike had just recently created a certification course where he was gonna personally mentor 15 people for 4 months and teach them almost everything he knew about marketing, copywriting, sales, business strategy, business economics, and funnels.At the end of those 16 weeks, I finished the program as one of the top 2 of the “graduating class”.

1 year later...

Now I'm a full-time copywriting & consulting machine. As for my non-business life:

I’m a 19 year old proud Texan who loves to spend time with family and friends.
